Re: Where were you with your Syncro?
I repaired my left long range tank and went to the Fuel garage and filled it up to determine
What the capacity is of each one as I have both sides one and since I got my Bus never used them
so This weekend We are planning a trip to Vaalwater with a few other Aircooled busses
I am also Going to pull my Caravan Gypsey 5 so might need extra fuel

So takes 37L and R500 later
that means I will have a capacity of around 140L to my Disposal

What is the std Syncro tank capacity again?

Re: Where were you with your Syncro?
Desember 2011 Pta to Sosusvlei and "the Rigtersveld" Round trip of 4500km Std 2.1 engine.
Hassle with Lrp not available in some places.
Dirty air filter witch we cleaned at Ais Ais with the compressor.
Droped a shock in the rigtersveld rubber mounting came loose sounde like a bell from a ice cream truck, Blou draad an pliers to fix
1 puncture in Sosus with a susequent blow out.
Either than that ran sweet with no problems

Like Stuard said, Keep the revs down and it will be fine.

Syncro - stuff dreams are made off
