I spotted this well kitted Syncro in Pietermaritzburg today and met the owner as well, Geoff Carter-Brown. He's done some extensive traveling in this bus, as well as some very handy modifications. Note the solar panel on the roof, being one of many. Apparently Stuart fitted the Golf 2.0 motor a few years back- which lies at a steep angle with a modified sump in order to keep the engine bay area flat. He's about to embark on another big trip. I wish him safe travels.

he has a serious water system in that syncro
heat exchangers and valves in the right rear aircon pannel to control everything
ill try find the pic of the system and upload it
