Re: 4x4 Fundi Challenge this weekend
hi Guys

The fundi Challenge was in Lichtenburg this week end.

It went really well with us scoring 81.75 point out of a possible 93, we were just out the top 20, 20th got 82 points.. winner got 94 points.

we got a full 100 for 8 of the 10 obstacles and 50 on one and 25 on th last one we did.

The 50 was a blind driver obstacle and the 25 was on as serious side slope and decent. a G wagen, 3 cars before us rolled on this obstacle and a few vehicles lost tyres. we opted for the safe route by Knocking down 3 poles instead of chancing a roll.

Every one was amazed on the progressive obstacle when we got full points for it, it was a serious climb with points for the further one got up it. we made it all the way.

it was great fun and a really nice place to have a syncro weekend with a nice play area and some really awesome obstacles. it is 245km from Pretoria, so about a 3 hour drive.

dean will post some videos and we will have pics available soon as well

Saw the video of the hill climb. Awesome!

Well done you guys. I would have gone with if we were allowed to spectate.

Re: 4x4 Fundi Challenge this weekend
Stuart drove like a champion and those 100 points for the 8 obstacles was insanely good
There seems to be new management at the challenge and spectators are now allowed so the next one everyone is welcome to come watch
The reasone we didnt come top 20 is we got penalized for our ground clearance a lot but we got more points than the vehicles ahead of us which was a big achievement

Re: 4x4 Fundi Challenge this weekend
hi all

The next event is at Bronkhorstspruit, I am trying to arrange with the orginisers that we can have spectators, hope we can arrange this as there were a few spectators at Lichtenburg.

The event is on the 27 august and hope fully we will do as well as we did on this one.

Was there anybody with a camcorder? It would be nice if the challenge could be posted on the tube.
