RE: Dinokeng Day 4X4
all 4x4 trails are syncro friendly, yet to find one a syncro cannot do that other vehicles can?

I may be a mechanic, but i can't fix stupid
Bad planning on your part does not make your issue an crisis to me
Bad workmanship by other garages does not entiltle you to better rates at me
Syncro, syncro , syncro and more syncro, this is the syncro way of life

RE: Dinokeng 4X4 Trail
Thanks Stuart I will take that as you have not driven there. So the Question still remains to the rest of the forum, has anyone driven the trail? Some of us don't have a garage full of spares anymore and are now a lot more careful where we drive our beloved vans.

Xavier

Have you tried calling Dinokeng? I would be keen on joining.

I doubt any Syncro will suffer, I would however be concerned about approach angles if they have very steep obstacles but doubt that they do.

RE: Dinokeng Day 4X4
Yes I called today and got hold of Alex, who guides the trail.
Cost is R250 per car plus R30 per person for conservation fees. The trail is in the reserve itself, which has the big 5.
It is about 25Km long and includes a number of river crossings of the Pienaars river.
I have spoken to Dean, Alan, Enkie, Gert and they would like to join as well, as it is only 30km out of PTA.
I will keep you in the loop.

Don't know if this is the same trail you have in mind, but it sounds as if you won't have any issues.
