Jan Trichard pass and Bakkers Pass
During my short visit home at the end of March, I had reason to travel these two passes while on my way to Lephalale.
Wonderful scenery. Overnighted in Marakele National park.

I'll show you a place
High on a desert plain
Where the streets have no name

Phillip;
More places to see!
Do you have more pics of the modifications on your syncro? Those windows piqued my interest!

RE: Jan Tichard pass and Bakkers Pass
Hi Gert,
The bus was modified to be used for banking serviced in North-Zululand in the early nineties.
It had two atms installed in those modified windows and propably used external generators to supply power to the atms.
Unfortunately cash-in-transit heists stopped that endeavor and the bus was sold on.

I'm sure Stuart could tell us a bit more about the bus and it's history.
