Hi All

So I got treated to a 4x4 Fathers day outing.thought I would share some pictures for those that havent been there.

Its an awesome place for an outing. My cousin went with his Prado that is very lifted.
The Syncro is Bog standard and there were two Rubicons in front of us with massive lifts and iron man suspension. they really gave me the "what the hell are you doing here " look when we set off about halfway there is a massive incline thats really tricky with ruts and boulders lose sand and everything when I came up there they all stoppped to come and spectate the "Taxi" getting stuck. when I reached the top they were like "OMW what the hell thats a kombie how did you do that" the other guy was "flippit daai ding is soos n miskruier"

i just said well its a factory standard Syncro with 14" wheels. they were impressed and said they take back what they had previously said about the Syncro. So some respect gained hehe. I also met Craig with an Orange Syncro briefly.

Coolest shot was of these two Zebras standing side by side.

Lekker Dazz. we must go sometime when it's wet. Much more fun then.

Are you talking about the rough part just after your 3rd pic? I have done it with the doka but give it a miss in the camper.

Hi BHM

Yes we defenitely must. I like MUD although my Bus is still too low. You should feel like royalty being able to say that you have a 1) Doka 2) that is a Syncro

This is the hill that I was referring to, when you come to the top you can see Unisa and the Voortrekker Monument. It might be that the Bus is still rolling on 14" as this causes me to hesitate when going in and out of humps and holes as I dont like bottoming the nose of the bus.

That hill is a bit further along the trail, not the one I'm talking about. Other one is very rocky.

Oh yes I skipped the one you are talking of. I didnt want to risk damage as A std Bus is a bit low and I think the Aproach angle isnt enough to get up there.
