Syncro Insurance
I am busy taking delivery of a 1990 Syncro with a V6 engine.
My insurers are Outsurance.
At this stage they only want to insure it for R 18000.
Any suggestions on where or hoe I can get better insurance

RE: Syncro Insurance
My insurance company made me jump through hoops to get mine insured for what I paid for it. Had to get an engineers report ( garage mechanic ). They sent me a form for the mechanic to fill in. Then it was off to VW to get an evaluation. Luckily the salesman liked me and we had a lengthy chat. In the end he gave me an agreed value. He said that a sanctioned club e.g. a classic car club could put a replacement value on it. Car dealers are not keen on doing this as these old vehicles on not even on the system and will not be in any current book values.

RE: Syncro Insurance
All my stuff is insured with Outsurance except the white Syncro. I am doing that through Garrun with Cross Country. Dean did the valuation and so far very happy with them. They do cross border recovery as well.
